The storyline concerns Lex Luthor’s extravagant plot to finally rid of Superman, and trials that the Man of Steel must endure as a result. Alongside Superman, the series sees appearances from many of his most well-known allies and adversaries, albeit often in altered forms from conventional Superman continuity.
Winner of Eisner Awards in 2006 for Best New Series as well as in 2007 and 2009 for Best Continuing Series.
